CCW/Firearms Training

Concealed Carry Handgun training courses are held twice per month. Please email Drew Investigative Consulting if you are interested in attending a training course required for a Concealed Carry Handgun Permit. The course consists of eight hours of mandatory training and a shooting practical spent on the range. Under North Carolina law, the criteria to qualify for issuance of a concealed carry permit by a sheriff include but are not limited to: the applicant must be a citizen of the United States or lawfully admitted for permanent residence, the applicant must be a resident of the State for 30 days or longer, the applicant must be 21 years of age or older and the applicant must complete the approved firearms safety and training course involving instruction on laws of the State governing the carrying of a concealed handgun and the use of deadly force. To obtain a certificate of course completion, students must possess a valid North Carolina Identification or Driver's License.  Information on pricing, class location, range location and dates will be provided to interested concealed carry students. Please contact us online.

It is recommended that students bring their own gun they intend to carry, and 50 rounds of ammunition to the class. However, ownership of a handgun and ammunition is not required for this class and can be provided by the instructor if needed. Individual firearms training is also available for inexperienced or novice shooters looking to improve their firearms knowledge and skills.
